Getting started
Get a clear plan for connecting your devices and understand which settings you will need.

Infometric Cloud is a planned support service for ARCnet users and the community. Its purpose is to help people turn the idea of their own network into an understandable setup and maintenance process. The service is preparing to launch alongside the public platform; its purpose and plans are available to explore now.

ARCnet provides software for connecting devices and managing a network. Infometric Cloud plans to help people use these tools: understand their infrastructure, prepare it for use and arrange its maintenance. Choosing this support will be optional; you can maintain your network independently without Infometric.
Help with setup does not require handing your equipment over to the service. A rented server is held in the user's own account with their chosen provider. The owner decides what belongs in the network and whether to trust a support service. Infometric Cloud is preparing to support that infrastructure, rather than replace ownership of it.
Infometric plans to operate its own certificate server based on ARCnet Identity for connecting devices. Maintenance of the associated devices will use the Supervisor role. Before connecting, users should know who will receive that access and how support is organised. Trust and device disconnection terms will be published before launch; a Directory listing does not make a service automatically trusted.
Infometric Cloud is preparing to support both individual setups and shared practical knowledge through clear guides, explanations of common problems and user feedback. Its separate service website describes the planned areas of help. Contact arrangements, supported configurations and maintenance terms will be announced before launch.
